Welcome to the E.A.A.S.S.G Website
The East Area Asylum Seekers Support Group is a local charity based in the east end of Newcastle upon Tyne. Our main activity is to provide asylum seekers and refugees in our area with a place to come and seek advice, help and above all a place to enjoy some friendly company. In addition though we also help and support the local residents with any problems or issues that they might have.

February 2009:
New sets of Annual Reports, Accounts and Newsletters available to download
15 April 2007:
EAASSG appears on BBC1. EAASSG is featured on BBC1's 'Songs of Praise' programme from Newcastle. The segment included interviews with Chris Carroll, volunteers and clients.
10 April 2007:
EAASSG Website goes live. After a few teething problems the website is loaded and is launched.
