Planning ahead
It has recently been announced that one company -
The immediate implication for EAASSG is that Common Ground will be in the wrong place. There are unlikely to be many asylum seekers located within walking distance of the project.
However, at the same time, the One Stop Shop service advising asylum seekers, currently undertaken by the North of England Refugee Service, is likely to be significantly reduced.
Therefore the demand for Common Ground’s services will grow rather than shrink -


The building
Furthermore Common Ground is no longer adequate for our needs. If we are to continue our present work we would like to move or to take on another building more appropriate for different patterns of work.
